PKG Signature Events

PKG signature events bring you together with the MIT community (fellow students, faculty, alumni, and staff) and community partners, social enterprises, and government agencies.

Signature Events help share opportunities to collaborate for a more socially and environmentally engaged world. These events include:

Community Conversations

Note: Due to MIT’s largely virtual fall 2020 semester, the PKG Center will not be holding any in-person events for the remainder of 2020.

Join the conversation! PKG Community Conversations connect you with industry and Institute professionals working with issues you care about. Gather and network with other MIT students and listen as local government and nonprofit agencies pitch their projects, internships and opportunities.

Social Action Fair

Note: Due to MIT’s largely virtual fall 2020 semester, the PKG Center will not be holding any in-person events for the remainder of 2020.

Each fall, the PKG Center’s Social Action Fair brings 15+ nonprofits and community agencies to campus for one night. Drop-in and speak with partners doing work that aligns with your studies, explore internship opportunities, and find out how you can volunteer with organizations right in MIT’s backyard.
