Learn More About Corral
Who are they?
Corral is a multi-disciplinary team building tech for tribal sovereignty. They are mostly academics and professional volunteers and work asynchronously online with regular check-in meetings. Learn more about them at: www.consultationcorral.org
What projects might I work on?
Interns help track and analyze consultation outcomes, and elevate community voices by documenting and sharing stories where Tribal advocacy has successfully shaped federal policy. They will also help amplify Corral through communications to let Tribal leaders know about this free tool.
Depending on the skillset, Corral would work to set (a) learning goals and (b) a final project for them to focus on. They would then create a workplan together toward that goal and schedule all check-ins + time for review of the final project.
What could I expect to learn from this experience?
Students will learn about Tribal Consultation as a tool for government accountability, government-to-government relations, jurisdiction, storytelling, program evaluation and data sovereignty.
