Heidi Durresi
Heidi Durresi
Heidi is a 2nd year PhD student in linguistics at MIT. She spent her childhood in Albania and the US. Her research uses computational models and speech data to investigate the principles of spoken language. She holds undergraduate degrees from MIT in linguistics and math with computer science. At the PKG Center, Heidi is a Graduate Community Fellow supporting community engaged learning initiatives and civic engagement on campus, as well as database needs.
Throughout her time at MIT, Heidi has found herself involved with many student clubs, where she’s run an on-campus movie theater, tech for plays and musicals, and educational programs for local students. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Boston’s public transit and making coffee.
