Lia Hsu-Rodriguez

Lia (she/her) is a second-year graduate student at Harvard University, pursuing an MPH in Health and Social Behavior, with a concentration in maternal and child health. She earned her BS in Anthropology and Biology from MIT in 2021 and then worked at a non-profit organization supporting community-based early childhood programs. Her focus is on fostering equitable partnerships between health systems and families, particularly in underserved communities.

Lia is not only an alumna of MIT, but also of the PKG Center, where she discovered her passion for public health through programs like IAP Health. She is excited to return as a Graduate Assistant to support students in exploring social impact work in partnership with communities.

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Lia enjoys baking and exploring Boston with her dog in her free time.
