End Overdose Training

RSVP here!

Tuesday, October 3rd, Noon-1:00PM. This event is on campus, room TBD (will be emailed to registrants). Open to the MIT community.

Drug overdosing is a leading cause of death in young adults aged 18-45. In this workshop we will discuss opioid overdosing and ways to combat it. Specifically, we will teach folks how to use vital harm reduction resources like fentanyl testing strips, xylazine testing strips, and naloxone (more commonly known by the name brand Narcan). By the end of the workshop, attendees will be equipped with 6 steps necessary to reverse an opioid overdose and save someone’s life. No one else has to die.

Presented by Benjamin Lewis, TPP Graduate Student and Founder of End Overdose, Boston
