MIT Hacking Racism in Healthcare Application Deadline

The MIT Hacking Racism Challenge is thrilled to be back for our second year. The Engineering Health Equity Hackathon is just around the corner coming up next month on November 12-14th. Deadline to apply is November 3rd at 11:59 PM ET!

Hosted by MIT Hacking Racism Challenge, Race to Better Health, and Atrius Health, this 48-hour virtual event will focus on innovating durable solutions to address structural racism, disparities, and inequities in healthcare.

Participants of all backgrounds are welcome! The only requirement is a passion for healthcare equity. We are bringing together patients, providers, engineers, data scientists, programmers, public health professionals, artists/designers, and other key stakeholders.

Systemic health inequities have persisted throughout our history. These inequities continue to impact many underrepresented and vulnerable groups. Historically, this population has been denied appropriate and equitable healthcare access.

4 top prizes each in the amount of $1,500 will be awarded.  Apply today to secure a spot in this year’s hackathon!
