Summer Immersion: PKG Connect Info Session
PKG Connect (week-long immersion program)
Travel with a small group of MIT students to Navajo Nation and spend the week meeting with community members and stakeholders to learn about important social and technical issues on the reservation. As part of this experience, you will spend two days collaborating with DIGDEEP’s Navajo Water Project and assisting DIGDEEP in ongoing household survey processes. Throughout this experience you will speak with community members, gain data collection experience, and utilize ESRI ArcGIS software. You will also help assemble DIGDEEP’s home water systems and collaborate with staff to make system improvements. Build your technical skills and learn from community members!
