Mayra Martinez Peña

Mayra (she/her) graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a BA in Exercise and Sports Science in 2023. She is pursuing a Master’s in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education as a passionate advocate for educational equity, dedicated to helping minorities and underserved communities access higher education. Through her academic journey and volunteer work as an English teacher in Cusco, Peru, she has gained a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities. She is determined to make a positive impact at PKG. In her free time, Mayra enjoys exploring diverse cultures, traveling, and cherishing moments with loved ones.
